SHROPSHIRE MUSICAL THEATRE COMPANY
In January 2019 7 Academy of Performing Arts was looking at ways we could further our mission to engage people in dance and musical theatre to have a positive effect on their lives. From this, Shropshire Musical Theatre Company was born and has quickly become one of the areas most popular theatre groups.
Our first season saw us present 'Annie' & Legally Blonde' to sold out audiences with a diverse range of cast members.
We continue to welcome new members throughout the year and previous experience is not necessary, just a love for musical theatre and plenty of enthusiasm!

"I first became aware of 7 Academy when my niece started attending and I went along to watch one of her shows. I was immediately impressed by the standard of all the performers.
Fast forward a couple of years and I am proud to say I am a member of SMTC adult company with two shows under my belt. It has been fantastic to meet a great bunch of people, the staff led by Ben are amazing and you really become part of a family.
I am excited to be part of this incredible Academy, and I could not recommend it highly enough.
